Job summary

Robertsdale Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center in Robertsdale, AL is seeking a Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor to oversee the combined departments. The role requires planning, organizing and directing operations to keep the facility clean, safe and comfortable while ensuring sufficient linens and laundry supplies are on hand for residents.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude toward the elderly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in a Supervisory capacity.
• Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Training in environmental control and operation of laundry equipment.
• Must maintain dignity and confidentiality toward residents.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments.
• Ensure the facility is clean, safe, sanitary and comfortable.
• Ensure adequate supply of laundry and linens to meet client needs.
