Position Summary

Responsible for daily cleaning and supply of environmental services in healthcare areas. Assist staff as needed and take the lead under supervisor guidance. Communicate effectively about productivity and safety barriers. Act as an advocate for front-line EVS technicians.

Qualifications

• Reading and numerical competency.
• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare, is a plus.
• Ability to operate housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaners, buffers, mops, and carpet cleaning tools.
• Basic customer service skills.
• Adherence to Just Culture principles to ensure fair assessment of actions.
• Foster a safety-conscious work environment where safety concerns can be raised without fear of retaliation.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety in decision-making and behavior.
