Job summary

Newport Beach Country Club is seeking an experienced Lead Host to be the face of the dining room and a key ambassador of the Club's culture. You will cultivate meaningful relationships with members, anticipate preferences, and ensure flawless service setup.

The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 10 years in supervisory hospitality or related upscale environments, with a proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences and coordinate with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of supervisory, hospitality, or relevant experience.
• Proven ability to build and maintain long-term guest relationships.
• Deep understanding of high-level service standards and etiquette.
• Strong leadership presence with excellent communication.
• Experience working with senior leadership and reporting to a Director-level role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for members in dining room and build rapport.
• Greet members by name and anticipate needs.
• Oversee front-of-house operations including reservations and service flow.
• Lead by example and coordinate with culinary leadership.
• Train new team members on service standards.
• Monitor service timing and staffing to ensure smooth service.
