Job summary

Lettuce Entertain You is hiring a Lead Host to coordinate guest seating and reservations at our River North restaurant. The Lead Host is the first and last contact with guests, ensuring smooth flow and a warm welcome throughout each shift.

Responsibilities include managing wait lists, training new hosts, and maintaining guest counts and wait times while upholding high service standards in a fast-paced, creative dining environment in Chicago. Weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Host experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Lead Host responsible for training and guest service standards.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long shifts.
• Excellent communication and multitasking under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate guest seating and reservations for the host team.
• Effectively manage wait lists and provide accurate wait times.
• Coordinate with management to ensure smooth table turnover.
• Maintain a professional, warm demeanor throughout each shift.
• Assist with Coat Check duties as directed.
