Job summary

HKS, Inc. in Dallas seeks an experienced architect to lead design development and coordinate with design teams across the firm. You will mentor staff, develop concept through construction drawings, and ensure projects meet time and budget goals.

You will collaborate with consultants, regulators, and clients to refine design intent, deliver compelling presentations, and uphold HKS standards for sustainability and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture or related field
• Typically 8+ years of experience
• Licenses and Certifications Architectural registration strongly preferred Sustainable design accreditation preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with senior designers on conceptual designs and construction documents
• Leads design development and coordinates with consultants and client teams
• Develops design solutions based on industry standards and building codes
• Mentors junior staff and manages client expectations and deadlines
