Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; state requisites for employment.
• 3 years of continuous law enforcement experience including 2 years in a lead/supervisor role or GEO Supervisory Training.
• Must be at least 21 years old and possess required licenses (firearms and security).
• Certification in Corrections, Law Enforcement, or Military completed.
• Ability to work overtime and travel with overnight stays.
• Ability to handle stress and work long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise detainees in the hospital and maintain custody at all times.
• Enforce restraint and safety protocols during medical procedures.
• Ensure detainees are not allowed outside visitors unless contract or court order requires.
• Complete duty logs and reports; report unusual events to Transportation Supervisor.
• Ensure detainees are secured before leaving the hospital; adhere to all laws and policies.
