Job summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking a Logistics Associate Lead to support the Distribution & Logistics Department. The role includes breakout, storage, and return handling of sterile items for inpatient and surgical use, along with basic order entry and inventory control.

Responsibilities encompass replenishment of stock, coordination with departments, staff training, and maintaining accurate records to ensure efficient supply chain operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of two years of inventory management and/or materials handling experience is required.
• Excellent customer service and ability to use email and basic word processing are expected.

Responsibilities

• Support Distribution & Logistics operations for Stanford Health Care and SMCH.
• Perform basic order entry, inventory management, and stock replenishment.
• Maintain records and participate in patient safety and performance improvement initiatives.
• Replenish supply chain stocking locations and coordinate with departments.
• Assist in training new staff and ensure timely delivery and pickup of supplies.
• Communicate effectively with SHC & LPCH customers and affiliates.
