Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience: 3 years in commercial or institutional food preparation preferred.
• Licensure/certification: SERV-SAFE or Virginia Health Dept certification or ability to obtain within year one.

Responsibilities

• Develops menus and recipes.
• Instructs Cooks on food preparation and oversees production.
• Ensures quality, recipe accuracy and new product ideas.
• Prepares food according to standard recipes or reheating standards.
• Inspects food products from receipt to customer ensuring quality.
• Completes logs and documentation including corrective actions.
• Educates team on regulatory standards as assigned.
• Leads meetings and communicates messages from the Manager.
