Job summary

RIMEPRO INC is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead healthcare construction projects within active hospital environments in Southern California. The role emphasizes true HCAI/OSHPD work such as ERs, ORs, imaging suites, and other regulated clinical spaces.

The candidate will manage field operations inside occupied facilities, coordinating with hospital staff, architects, engineers, inspectors, and trade partners to ensure safety, schedule adherence, and full regulatory

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction
• Direct HCAI/OSHPD healthcare construction experience required
• Experience in ER/OR construction preferred
• Experience working inside occupied hospitals and patient-care environments
• Familiarity with infection control, shutdown planning, and hospital logistics
• Strong scheduling, coordination, and leadership skills
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid or similar software preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations on healthcare construction projects
• Manage work in active hospitals including ERs, ORs, imaging suites
• Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, deliveries, and hospital access
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and look-ahead plans
• Coordinate infection control, interim life safety, and phased construction
• Review drawings, specs, submittals, and HCAI documentation
• Coordinate with hospital facilities teams, inspectors, and design teams
• Manage MEP coordination including medical gas and healthcare systems
• Coordinate shutdowns, tie-ins, testing, and commissioning
• Conduct daily site walks and monitor safety, quality, and progress
• Lead subcontractor meetings and field coordination
• Maintain daily reports, logs, and site photos
• Identify constructability and compliance issues early
• Enforce OSHA and healthcare-specific safety requirements
• Manage punch lists, turnover, and closeout
• Maintain professional communication with hospital ownership and stakeholders
