Capital Health is seeking a billing leader to direct hospital third-party collections, oversee staff, and optimize accounts receivable performance. The role requires supervision of a billing team, deep knowledge of third-party contracts, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree and progressive patient accounting experience. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and a compensation range aligned with market norms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; high school diploma with experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Five years of patient accounting experience, including one year supervisory, with a Bachelor’s; or nine years with a HS diploma.
• Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of complex payor contract language; knowledge of CPT-4 and ICD-10.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and finance systems.

Responsabilités

• Manages and resolves complex system billing and receivable issues; meets with staff to resolve issues.
• Monitors payer payment methodologies; reports discrepancies to Payer Relations.
• Attends payer meetings to address contract terms and issues.
• Oversees workflow and billing system data; ensures gaps are resolved.
• Coordinates and monitors performance of hospital billing staff.
• Interviews, hires and trains employees; plans workloads and performance appraisals.
• Assists Director of Hospital Billing with annual department budget.
