Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Manager Hospital Billing to lead the hospital billing and third-party collections in Lawrenceville, NJ. This full-time role directs and evaluates billing activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency across the team.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with five years of patient accounting and supervisory experience, or a High School diploma with nine years of relevant experience. Strong contract knowledge and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; appropriate experience may substitute.
• Five years of patient accounting experience with supervisory exposure when Bachelor’s is present.
• Nine years of patient accounting experience with supervisory exposure when HS diploma is the minimum.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve complex hospital billing and receivable issues promptly.
• Monitor payer payment methodologies and report discrepancies to Payer Relations.
• Attend payer meetings and coordinate with revenue cycle leadership to resolve contract issues.
• Supervise and develop hospital billing staff and ensure compliance with policies.
• Oversee budgeting, data accuracy, and state reporting requirements.
