Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Manager, Hospital Billing to lead the Billing operation within Patient Accounting at our Bala Cynwyd location. You will supervise staff, optimize workflows, and ensure timely submission of claims across multiple markets, while enforcing policies and driving performance.

The role requires 5+ years in hospital billing management; EPIC experience is preferred. AHS diploma is required, Bachelor’s degree preferred, and an emphasis on regulatory compliance and staff

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of management-level experience in hospital billing.
• Hands-on experience with EPIC is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily billing workflow and staffing, ensuring accurate submissions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual changes.
• Plan and implement quality assurance for billing processes.
• Lead the Billing staff and allocate resources for maximum efficiency.
• Oversee transmitting and receiving electronic and paper claim submissions.
