Job summary

Addus HomeCare seeks a Scheduling Supervisor to oversee in-home care workers and clients within a geographic area. You will drive recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling to ensure client care plans are followed and documentation is accurate.

Ideal candidates have supervisory or home care experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate across teams while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Must have strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with standard computer software (Word/Excel) and scheduling systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; 6 months of industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and drive the field recruiting and hiring process.
• Oversee the onboarding and training of new branch administrative employees.
• Schedule employees according to client care plans and intake requirements.
• Ensure documentation is completed timely and accurately for new hires.
• Manage client schedules and adjust for changes in care plans, staffing, or absences.
• Provide supervision and set expectations for attendance and performance in line with company policies.

Position Summary

Responsible for scheduling and supervising in‑home care workers and clients in a geographic area. Hours

Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm

• Oversee the new hire process for all new employees and ensure all documentation is completed timely and accurately.
• On‑board and train new branch Administrative employees.
• Schedules employees as directed by client's care plan established upon intake.
• Processes patient authorizations and communicate with central admissions, enter reauthorizations into client record and ensure chart preparation for all new clients.
• Creates work schedules by entering schedules into the system, manages changes to client schedules due to client request, illness, vacation or leaves of absence. Provides alternate coverage to ensure the client's care plan is followed and client services are not interrupted.
• Supervises direct service employees by setting expectations for attendance, performance and conduct by holding employees accountable to the company's policies and guidelines.
• Assists with the new hire process for all new employees and ensures all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of Industry experience required.
• Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Scheduling program.
• Must have reliable transportation.
