Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Historic Preservation Carpentry Shop Manager to supervise repair and maintenance of historically designated facilities. The role directs trade workers, assigns daily tasks, and trains crews in safe, compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, architectural history, or historic preservation with related experience.
• Experience assessing historic buildings or preservation projects.
• Familiarity with National Park Service guidelines is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preservation of historic facilities and supervise trades.
• Evaluate existing conditions and advise on restoration scope, schedule and costs.
• Develop material budgets and preservation methods for restoration projects.
• Prepare project statements for proposals and National Park Service standards.
• Coordinate with historical architects, contractors and preservation firms.
• Maintain records required by public land agencies and company safety programs.
