Nebraska Medicine is seeking a HIM Coding Lead to coordinate inpatient, ambulatory, ED, outpatient and professional coding activities, ensuring accurate data and adherence to CPT/HCPCS, DRG/APC conventions.

The role involves supervising staff, analyzing productivity, and collaborating with Revenue Cycle Education and Quality Coordinators, with emphasis on problem-solving and clear communication.

Formación

• Minimum of five years' experience in health information management or a coding related environment.
• Post-secondary degree in health information management OR equivalent combination of experience/education.
• Focused training with CPT, HCPCS, Diagnosis and/or DRG coding conventions.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate inpatient, ambulatory, ED, outpatient and/or professional coding activities.
• Ensure accuracy of coded data across inpatient, outpatient and professional coding.
• Provide support for manager and/or director as required.
