Job summary

Hubbard Construction Company in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Survey Party Chief to supervise a survey crew performing construction stakeout, boundary, ALTA, and topographic surveys for public and private clients.

Required: proven experience as a Survey Party Chief with 5+ years in roads/highway projects, ability to work safely outdoors, and strong communication with site supervisors. This is a hands-on leadership role at a major civil contractor.

Qualifications

• Requires demonstrable previous experience as a Survey Party Chief.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees.
• Five (5) years or more of Construction layout related experience is required, with emphasis on roads, highways, and bridges.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all members of a survey crew performing stakeout and related surveys.
• Coordinate daily with field coordinator, project managers and other office staff.
• Work safely and follow all regulations; work independently as a one-person crew when required.
• Upload/download data collectors daily; care and charging of survey instruments.
