Job summary

Traffic Planning and Design, Inc. Career Center in New Jersey is seeking a Senior Highway Project Manager/Team Lead to guide highway design teams on multiple projects.

The ideal candidate has 9–15 years of experience, a NJ Professional Engineer license, and a proven ability to lead, mentor staff, and engage in business development while delivering on schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• 9-15 years of experience.
• NJ PE License.
• Experience with NJDOT preferred.
• Experience with County Projects, DRPA and DRJTBC is a bonus.
• Led Highway projects as Task Leader or Lead Designer.
• Experience preparing technical and price proposals.
• Willing to attend marketing events.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Technical Lead for highway-oriented projects.
• Mentor junior Highway Design Department staff.
• Perform Business Development activities including attending professional society events.
• Manage project schedules and budgets.

Pay Range: $115,000 - $165,000(depending on qualifications)
