Job summary

Lunar Outpost Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and integration of high‑voltage power systems for space vehicles.

You will drive development from concept through flight, coordinating with mechanical, software, and systems teams to ensure robust, safe, and reliable power solutions for energy storage, motors, and mission-critical loads. The role requires hands-on hardware execution, strong schematic/layout skills, and a history of delivering

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or closely related field
• 12+ years in high-voltage/high-power electrical systems
• Experience developing power electronics and distribution systems
• Schematic design and hardware development experience
• Altium Designer proficiency and EMI/EMC knowledge

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and development of EPS and vehicle power electronics
• Design 120V-class HV power distribution, protection, and control circuits
• Own electrical hardware from concept to flight and integration
• Develop vehicle power architectures for batteries, motors, and energy storage
• Lead hardware bring-up, testing, and verification activities
• Mentor engineers and establish HV power system best practices
