Job summary

Lunar Outpost Inc. is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and integration of high-voltage distribution, conditioning, protection, and control systems for energy storage, motor drives, and vehicle subsystems.

The role requires hands-on development from concept to flight, with emphasis on system-level architecture, PCB layout, EMI/EMC, and rigorous testing. Strong collaboration with mechanical, software, and harness teams is essential in a fast-paced space

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 12+ years of professional experience in high-voltage/high-power electrical systems.
• Experience developing power electronics, power distribution, motor control, aerospace power systems, or safety-critical hardware.
• Strong experience with electrical system architecture, schematic design, and hardware development for power applications.
• Hands-on experience with systems operating at 100VDC or greater.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and development of the LTV Electrical Power System (EPS) and vehicle power electronics.
• Design 120V-class HV power distribution, conditioning, protection, and control circuits.
• Own electrical hardware development from concept through flight, including requirements, schematic capture, PCB layout, testing, and integration.
• Develop vehicle-level power architectures supporting batteries, motor drives, energy storage, charging interfaces, and mission-critical loads.
• Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, software, systems, and harness teams for robust electrical integration.
• Perform PCB layout with attention to creepage, EMI/EMC, thermal management, and manufacturability.
