Job summary

Continuous Composites, Inc. is seeking a Principal Materials Engineer to lead our Materials Team in developing high-temperature ceramic matrix composites (CMCs) for real-world aerospace and defense applications.

You will own the end-to-end process from preforms to densified parts, leveraging our CF3D printing technology. The role requires hands-on leadership, track record of delivering R&D projects, and expertise in C/C, CVI, PIP densification, and material characterization.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in chemical, materials, or manufacturing engineering.
• 5+ years of composites engineering experience with high-temperature materials.
• Experience with material characterization techniques (thermal, mechanical, microstructural).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Materials Team to create CMCs from concept to production for aerospace applications.
• Own the R&D of CMCs to generate preforms and densified parts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and research institutions on multi-year plans.
