Job summary

The position is a Supplemental Annual Limited contract with responsibilities that include safety, compliance with CPS/ODE policies and scheduling a full season of contests, while promoting sportsmanship and academic eligibility. Responsibilities

• Serve as HS Varsity Head Swim Coach.
• Develop and execute an effective training program.
• Develop and train student-athletes to participate in competitive swimming.
• Monitor, motivate, supervise, and mentor student-athletes.
• Instruct and guide student-athletes to lead them to the formulation and enhancement of moral values.
• Manage game day strategies and logistics.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of student-athletes.
• Work cooperatively with SchoolAthletic Office and CPS District Athletics Department.
• Check academic eligibility for prospective student-athletes.
• Follow district policies and meet required coaching criteria.
• Model the behavior expected of student-athletes and maintain professional conduct.
