Job summary

Build People is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead mid-rise and high-rise multifamily condominium projects in Hallandale Beach and throughout South Florida. The ideal candidate will oversee all field operations, coordinate subcontractors, maintain schedules, and ensure the highest safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction experience, with senior superintendent experience on multifamily projects.
• Experience in South Florida preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion and turnover.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, field personnel, and vendors to keep projects on schedule and within quality standards.
• Manage daily field operations, including scheduling, inspections, logistics, and manpower coordination.
• Review drawings, specifications, and schedules to identify issues and maintain efficiency.
• Conduct regular site meetings and coordinate with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and ownership teams.
• Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain quality control across structural, MEP, and interior finishes.
• Oversee project closeout, inspections, punch lists, and turnover.
