Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Lead Helicopter Maintenance Electronic Tech IV to solve complex electrical problems beyond manuals. The role requires circuit analysis, system maintenance, and leadership in technical direction for advanced avionics and communications systems.

The ideal candidate will analyze circuits, supervise maintenance tasks, and ensure maintenance data is accurately entered. Day, swing, and night shifts including weekends may be required to support operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• FAA A&P or FCC license may substitute or be required.
• Knowledge of electronic aircraft, avionic and communication principles.
• Able to pass eye/ear tests and obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze circuits and trace signal flow to diagnose complex electrical issues.
• Maintain electrical and environmental systems on aircraft.
• Operate test equipment (TDRs, oscilloscopes, IFF test sets).
• Provide technical direction for COMSEC, SATCOM, ADS-B, HUMS, and DAMA systems.
• Coordinate parts requisition and maintain maintenance data in MIS.
