Job summary

Partner Equipment Sales is seeking an experienced, hands-on Lead Shop Mechanic – Heavy truck and Equipment to join our Hazleton, PA garage. Knowledge of welding/fabrication and leadership experience are strongly preferred.

Compensation will vary based on experience and qualifications, with great benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k). This role requires a valid driver's license, ability to pass a drug screen, and 5+ years of garage experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in a garage environment.
• Knowledge of trucks and equipment: mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems preferred.
• Welding experience would be a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Repair and refurbish fleet trucks and equipment for resale.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work with accuracy and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair major and minor mechanical and electrical issues.
• Communicate with management regarding parts needs, repairs, and approvals.
• Collaborate with Fabrication team to develop and fabricate truck bodies and related projects.
• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining organization, quality, and timelines.
• Provide hands-on support in fabrication and shop duties.
