CITY OF ROCHESTER NH is seeking a skilled operator to run heavy construction equipment and perform routine maintenance for the Public Works department. The role involves outdoor work, adherence to safety procedures, and interaction with residents and city staff.

Qualified applicants will have a High School diploma or equivalent and a valid CDL-A with Tanker Endorsement. Experience with backhoes, loaders, graders and excavators is preferred; overtime may be required during emergencies or winter

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience in the operation, maintenance and repair of heavy equipment.
• CDL-A with Tanker Endorsement required.

Responsabilidades

• Operates heavy construction and maintenance equipment (backhoes, loaders, grader and excavator).
• Drives trucks in public works operations.
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment and assists with repairs as needed.
• Loads, unloads, transports materials, tools, and personnel; participates in winter operations.
• Establishes and maintains safe, effective working relationships with staff and the public.
