Job summary

New Hampshire AG is seeking a full-time heavy equipment operator to safely operate bulldozers, graders, loaders and other heavy machinery in public works projects in Dover, NH. The role requires strong knowledge of safety practices and the ability to perform routine field maintenance.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with three years of heavy equipment experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Three years experience operating and maintaining heavy construction equipment (or equivalent).
• Valid NH CDL B with Air Brake and Tanker endorsements; CDL-A with endorsements preferred.
• NE Collection Systems Operator Certificate II and NH Water Distribution Certification II required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy construction and maintenance equipment to support road work and city facilities maintenance.
• Perform routine service and minor repairs; report major issues.
• Direct unskilled and semi-skilled workers in routine maintenance and construction tasks.
• Comply with traffic laws and safety procedures during equipment operation.
• Prepare equipment for snow removal and seasonal cleanup.
