Martin Marietta in Iowa is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to operate on service trucks and support multiple locations, maintaining mining and construction equipment. You will troubleshoot and repair diesel-powered machinery, perform rebuilds, replace hydraulic lines, and conduct preventative maintenance.

Applicants should have 3–5+ years of repair experience, knowledge of mining equipment, and the ability to work 8–12 hour shifts in varying environments.

Formación

• 3-5+ years of experience performing service repairs on Heavy Equipment.
• Knowledge of mining equipment a plus.
• Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools, torque wrenches and impact wrenches and follow Technical Manual procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of equipment.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsabilidades

• A person that understands the importance of doing a job correctly and is responsible for repairing and maintaining their fleet of Heavy Equipment on customers' job sites.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, performs basic diagnostics schedules, maintenance and repairs.
• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to use computer diagnostic tools.
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Able to work in an underground Mine.
