Job summary

Didion, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment & Load Out Lead to provide hands-on leadership in the rail yard, bulk loadout, and heavy equipment operations. This working lead role focuses on safety, efficiency, and reliability while mentoring the team.

You will coordinate daily shift activities, train operators, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with maintenance to improve equipment reliability, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or lead operator experience.
• Experience coaching or training others.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively across departments.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and promote a strong safety culture.
• Coordinate daily loadout, rail yard, and heavy equipment operations.
• Train, coach, and support operators.
• Troubleshoot operational and equipment issues.
• Conduct railcar and trailer inspections.
• Partner with Maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
• Support quality, food safety, and customer expectations.
• Communicate priorities and keep operations running smoothly throughout the shift.
