Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Heavy Civil Superintendent to lead field operations on major infrastructure projects in the Kansas City area. The role requires 7+ years in superintendent or field leadership within heavy civil construction, with experience supervising roadway, bridge, and utility work, and a strong focus on safety and performance.

The candidate will coordinate with project managers, engineers, and craft professionals, read complex drawings and schedules, and travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of superintendent/field leadership in heavy civil construction.
• Experience supervising roadway, highway, bridge, underground utility, grading, earthwork, paving, or transportation projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project schedules.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations on high-profile infrastructure projects and coordinate with PMs, engineers, and craft professionals.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, equipment, and self-perform crews to meet project goals.
• Document daily reports, track progress, and ensure safety and quality on site.
