• Budgets and project management to track costs, support estimates, and maintain milestones and timelines.
• Experience as a construction superintendent or similar leadership role in heavy civil or site development projects.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specifications, and project documents; familiarity with construction technology and basic software tools.
• Effective communication and leadership to direct diverse teams and collaborate with clients, inspectors, and internal stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites; OSHA or other safety certifications are beneficial.

Role Description

The Construction Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in Platte City, MO. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations, including coordinating crews, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure work is completed on schedule and in accordance with project plans and specifications. The superintendent monitors construction activities for quality, safety, and productivity, conducts site inspections, and enforces company and regulatory safety standards. The role includes tracking progress, assisting with scheduling, supporting budget adherence, and communicating regularly with project managers, owners, and inspectors. The superintendent also prepares and maintains jobsite documentation, resolves field issues, and promotes a professional, collaborative work environment.
