Hatteras Capital Advisors is seeking a Foreman for heavy civil site development projects in Columbia, SC. You will lead field crews, ensure safety, quality, and on-time production, and coordinate with management and engineering to keep work moving.

The role requires reading plans, interpreting grades, operating GPS equipment, and maintaining daily records. You will supervise equipment, manage safety programs, and mentor crew members in a fast-paced outdoor construction environment.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience with heavy equipment and safe jobsite practices.
• Ability to read engineered plans and interpret field layouts.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screenings.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Aufgaben

• Lead daily field operations to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
• Operate and oversee heavy equipment safely according to procedures.
• Read plans, interpret grades, support field layout and GPS workflows.
• Set up GPS base stations and GPS-guided equipment.
• Conduct JSAs, toolbox talks, and safety communications.
• Identify production constraints and implement field solutions.
• Maintain equipment, tools, fuel inventory, and company vehicles.
• Complete logs and expense documentation accurately and on time.
• Ensure site cleanliness and erosion control compliance.
• Guide and support crew members, including minor equipment repairs.
