Job summary

LaRiviere, Inc. seeks a skilled foreman who is also a heavy equipment operator for heavy civil work in the Coeur d Alene, Idaho / Spokane, Washington region. This field position works with the superintendent to manage on-site operations and supports safety compliance across jobs.

Qualifications

• 5 years heavy equipment operating experience.
• 3 years leadership on heavy civil construction projects.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (CDL a plus).
• Ability to operate a variety of heavy equipment and read plans.

Responsibilities

• Plan workflow for efficient resource use.
• Assist in scheduling manpower and equipment.
• Oversee safety compliance on all jobs with safety director.
• Train personnel on safe work practices.
• Operate construction heavy equipment proficiently and safely.
• Lift up to 50–100 lbs with assistance.
• Work safely around moving machinery in all weather conditions.
• Attend safety meetings and report safety concerns.
• Maintain daily timecards and equipment checklists.
• Ensure clean equipment and good housekeeping.
• Enter time and equipment usage in Bid2Win.
