Job summary

Jordan Foster Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee all phases of large-scale civil projects from planning to closeout. The role directs crews, subcontractors, and client relations, ensuring safety, schedule, quality, and budget adherence on multiple sites.

The candidate will review drawings, manage resources, prepare reports, and maintain compliance with company standards. TXDoT familiarity and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of related construction experience, with TXDoT exposure.
• Ability to thoroughly understand drawings and specs, documents, materials, means and methods.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to meet safety, funding, and scheduling goals.
• Monitor and control project budget and schedule; report costs, progress and forecasts.
• Review drawings and specs for constructability and accuracy; ensure quality compliance.
• Supervise Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Foremen; train as needed.
• Ensure on-site compliance with safety programs, procedures, and company policies.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders; prepare project communications and reports.
