Job summary

Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Assembler Lead for 2nd shift to assemble and align mechanical units, sub-assemblies, and completed products using hand and power tools and fixtures. You will fit, calibrate, and adjust parts to meet tolerances and spec requirements.

You will lead a small team, assign tasks, verify torque sequences, and perform quality checks to ensure customer specifications are met, with safety as a priority and occasional safety committee involvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly.
• Knowledge of finished product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team by assigning tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Assist in completing tasks to meet production schedules.
• Verify torque sequence and values (certified).
• Perform quality checks to meet customer specs.
• Read and follow complex instructions.
• Follow all safety rules and practices; participate in safety initiatives.
