Holtec International in Camden, NJ, is seeking a Technical Sponsor/Mechanical Design Engineer to lead heat exchanger design and oversee the technical execution of projects. You will translate customer and internal requirements into engineered solutions and ensure compliance with performance, quality, regulatory, and schedule targets.

The role requires strong mechanical design expertise, extensive ASME VIII/III experience, 3D CAD modeling and 2D drafting skills, and the ability to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years CAD 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• 5+ years ASME VIII/III heat exchanger design experience.
• Detail-oriented with accurate engineering calculations.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
• GD&T and tolerance analysis experience.
• Experience with full design lifecycle including fabrication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design heat exchanger equipment for power industry.
• Review specifications to determine design requirements.
• Coordinate design work to meet project milestones.
• Review concept drawings with input from technical disciplines.
