Job summary

Adams Stove Company in Adams, MA is seeking a Working Foreman who will lead a small installation crew and perform hands-on hearth installations daily. You will install wood pellet and gas stoves, fireplaces, and inserts, while ensuring venting and clearances meet code requirements.

The ideal candidate reads installation manuals, works directly with customers, and takes ownership of jobs from preparation through completion. A CSL license is preferred and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

Significant hands-on experience with wood pellet and/or gas hearth installation.
Experience installing stoves, fireplaces, and/or inserts.
Strong understanding of venting, clearances, hearth requirements, and installation procedures.
Ability to read and follow manufacturer installation instructions.
Experience leading or supervising other installers.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Lead a two-to-three person installation crew.
Personally participate in installations every day.
Install wood pellet and gas stoves, fireplaces, and inserts.
Install and work with venting, chimney systems, hearth components, and related materials.
Coordinate materials, tools, deliveries, and jobsite preparation.
Communicate professionally with homeowners and customers.
Maintain a clean, safe, organized jobsite.
