Job summary

Dealers Building Supply Inc. is seeking a Fireplace Installer and Service Technician to load, install, and service fireplaces for customers.

The role emphasizes premier customer service, safety, and working with a team to train installation assistants in all aspects of the job. Candidates should have 4+ years in construction or building trades, be able to read a tape measure, and hold a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Experience operating hand power tools.
• 3+ years of driving experience with a clean record.
• Residential fireplace installation or service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review all paperwork before leaving warehouse.
• Load and inspect products to be installed for that day.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with the division.
• Follow safety and company policy while driving and on site.
• Inspect jobsite for safety and complete installation/service per procedures.
• Take photos and complete all on-site tasks before returning to warehouse.
