The role offers full-time employment with flexible hours and hybrid teleworking. A Maryland Bar membership is required, with admission within 12 months, and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school (or equivalent).
• Four years of legal experience in civil, criminal, or administrative proceedings.
• Note: substitutions may apply for paid leave program administration or military judge advocate experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct impartial administrative hearings and write timely, legally sound decisions.
• Lead or train lower-level Hearing Officers and review their work for quality.
• Handle complex adjudication cases and ensure due process and proper procedures.
