Job summary

Qumulo is seeking a Technical Lead for healthcare, life sciences, and pharmaceutical accounts in the United States. You will partner with Sales and customers across the full cycle, from discovery through proof-of-concept, designing storage architectures for clinical care, research, and regulated environments.

The role involves hands-on collaboration with healthcare IT directors, research informatics teams, and compliance officers to translate requirements into scalable, HIPAA/FDA-compliant

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a customer-facing technical role in software, storage, or tech.
• 4+ years focused on healthcare, life sciences, or pharma.
• Experience with regulated environments (HIPAA, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GxP) and data workflows.
• Track record leading complex pre-sales engagements end to end.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship on healthcare and life sciences opportunities from discovery to architecture sign-off.
• Partner with account teams to qualify deals and shape technical strategies for clinical, research, and regulated workloads.
• Design architectures for regulated environments with data sovereignty, audit trails, DR/HA, and secure multi-site collaboration.
• Build credibility with healthcare IT, research informatics, compliance, and clinical owners.
• Develop and maintain reference architectures, compliance briefs, solution docs, and competitive positioning.
