Job summary

Amigo is hiring an Senior Applied AI Engineer to lead end‑to‑end deployments for healthcare customers. You will set architecture, break down problems, and own timelines, bridging engineering, product, and customer teams on site in NYC or San Francisco.

You will evaluate tradeoffs, guide build vs. reuse decisions, and ensure delivery with a high bar for quality and scope control. This is a hands‑on leadership role at the intersection of product and patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience breaking down ambiguous problems into deliverable work for a team.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and agent systems or the ability to acquire quickly.
• Good judgment to make tradeoffs and the ability to say no when needed.
• Proven ability to lead design and delivery of complex deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead an AI deployment for a major healthcare customer from first conversation to production.
• Turn ambiguous customer needs into a clear technical plan with owners and timelines.
• Make decisions on what to build now, what to reuse, and what to push back on.
• Work directly with customers to maintain scope, timelines, and quality.
