Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Principal Specialist in Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S). This onsite role requires strong safety program development, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with engineers and manufacturing teams.

The candidate must have 5+ years in safety, and the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Active CSP/ASP preferred and US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of relevant safety experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate EH&S concerns with business partners to ensure facilities compliance.
• Organize and maintain EH&S policies to achieve and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Assist in developing and implementing safety programs and campaigns.
• Lead investigations and root-cause analyses for injuries and incidents.
• Provide instructor-led training on various safety topics.
• Support audits and regulatory assessments (ADOSH, VPP, etc.).
