Job summary

Oasis Health Partners is seeking a Principal Data Scientist to design and lead a world-class data science function. You will own predictive modeling end-to-end, build analytics in DBT, and scale ML deployments across the organization, collaborating with executives, operations, and clinical teams.

You will guide analytics strategy, advance AI/LLMs for patient and provider engagement, and ensure robust dashboards for executives and operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in healthcare analytics with hands-on expertise in real-world data.
• Strong SQL for complex data analysis and reporting.
• Proficient Python for building and productionizing machine learning models.
• Experience creating impactful BI reports and dashboards for end-users.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical teams, including operational and clinical teams.
• Able to adapt to the ambiguity and rapid change of a startup environment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare tech environment.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Own our machine learning strategy and execution end to end.
• Build analytics data models in DBT to support underlying analytics.
• Own MLOps engineering—automate, deploy, and monitor ML models.
• Join an Oasis workstream as the trusted analytics expert for that function.
• Identify additional sources of data to identify/risk stratify patients and assess program impact.
• Build out predictive models to identify target patient cohorts.
• Utilize AI/LLMs to advance patient and provider engagement.
• Develop analytics layer to support executive dashboards and operational reporting.
