Job summary

Council On Rural Service Programs Inc. seeks a Head Teacher Infant-Toddler in Fairborn for the Head Start program. Lead classrooms, collaborate with staff and families, and promote kindergarten readiness in a supportive, growth‑minded environment.

Candidates with an ECE degree and experience, or related combinations, are encouraged to apply. The role includes professional development and a family‑centered approach within a highly rated program.

Qualifications

• ECE bachelor’s degree and one year experience; or Bachelor’s degree + 6 ECE courses and one year experience; or Associate’s degree in ECE and two years’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise teachers with daily operations in the center classroom and plan learning environments.
• Ensure safety and healthy learning environments for all children.
• Plan and implement activities that promote children’s interests and skill building.
• Participate in family engagement and male involvement activities throughout the program year.
• Complete home visits, plans and parent/teacher conferences to support intentional learning.
• Master regulatory requirements to maintain high program ratings.
