Job summary

SGS is looking for an experienced HDD Inspector to oversee HDD construction activities in Rockingham County, NC and Pittsylvania County, VA. This role handles drilling logs, monitors frac-out risks, and ensures contractor compliance with specifications.

Candidates should have strong HDD inspection experience and 10–15+ years of pipeline inspection. The position offers a challenging environment with a preference for 1099 contractors.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of pipeline inspection experience preferred.
• Experience with 24"–42" HDD crossings preferred.
• Strong HDD inspection experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspection oversight for two active HDD crossings.
• Monitor HDD construction activities including drilling operations and reporting.
• Review drilling logs and bore profiles.
