Job summary

Motive is seeking a Security Engineer, Hardware Security to partner with Engineering and Hardware teams. You will drive design reviews, threat modeling, and scalable secure-by-default components that empower hardware engineers to ship secure products.

This role spans design, automation, and enablement across multiple Motive devices and cloud-connected environments. You will lead architecture reviews, define security requirements for firmware, boot processes, and device lifecycle controls, and

Qualifications

5+ years in Hardware Security and security by design for devices and platforms.
Experience with security requirements for hardware, embedded systems, and firmware.
Hands-on security design reviews, threat modeling, and validation across product lifecycles.

Responsibilities

Lead hardware security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and security testing for product systems.
Define and review security requirements for hardware platforms, embedded systems, firmware interfaces, and device lifecycle controls.
Drive end-to-end security for device hardware across IoT and cloud security infrastructure.
Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize findings, validate remediations, and scale secure-by-default components.
