Job summary

HumCap is seeking a Test Manager to oversee the test laboratory operations, lead the test team, and drive the testing, troubleshooting, and release of electronic products for shipment.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production to meet schedules, analyze yield, and ensure compliance with IPC, ISO 9001, and ESD controls. A strong focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• Seven or more years in electronics testing within EMS/PCB assembly environments.
• At least three years of leadership experience overseeing test technicians or engineers.
• Hands-on experience developing, debugging, and maintaining ICT and flying probe test programs.
• Experience with ICT, flying probe, and functional test methods.
• Familiarity with test platforms such as Keysight i3070, Teradyne TestStation, Takaya, SPEA, or Seica.
• Experience in functional test development using NI LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, or C#.
• Strong board-level troubleshooting skills and use of oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and analyzers.
• Knowledge of IPC‑A‑610, J‑STD‑001, ANSI/ESD S20.20, and ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Experience with structured root cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys, fishbone, Pareto, SPC).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer-facing presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and develop a test team across multiple shifts.
• Develop test strategies and optimize ICT, flying probe, and functional tests.
• Ensure test capacity aligns with production schedules and customer deliveries.
• Direct failure analysis, RMAs, and corrective actions.
• Maintain audit-ready test documentation and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with Quality, Process Engineering, and Production to drive defect reduction.
