Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Lead Hardware Engineer to guide an integrated ecosystem of simulation hardware and networked training systems for high‑fidelity rehearsals and large‑scale exercises. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, oversee maintenance, and drive hardware modernization aligned with mission requirements.

The role requires experience with distributed systems, DoD collaborations, and enterprise configuration management, with opportunities for growth in a dynamic defense tech

Qualifications

  • Must have hands-on experience with dispersed, geographically distributed systems.
  • Experience with DoD personnel and enterprise CM.
  • Proven ability to diagnose hardware and basic network issues and read diagrams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a small hardware engineering team to sustain system readiness and drive modernization.
  • Oversee installation, integration, upgrades, and lifecycle replacement of simulation hardware.
  • Coordinate deployment of system enhancements across local and distributed environments.
  • Develop and enforce hardware configuration management processes and documentation.
