Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Lead Hardware Engineer to guide an integrated ecosystem of simulation hardware, modeling components, and networked training systems for high-fidelity rehearsals and large-scale exercises. You will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for sustaining readiness, advancing architectural improvements, and driving hardware-focused modernization.

You will oversee deployment, hardware upgrades, and CM processes, support live, virtual, and constructive training

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Experience with DoD personnel and operations.
Strong in enterprise configuration management and hardware baselining.
Ability to diagnose hardware and basic network issues from diagrams and schematics.
Experience with geographically dispersed systems and field deployments.
Clearance: TS/SCI and Security+ certified.

Responsibilities

Lead a small hardware engineering team and drive hardware sustaining efforts.
Oversee installation, integration, and lifecycle upgrades of simulation hardware.
Direct deployment of system enhancements for distributed and local training environments.
Develop and enforce hardware CM processes and baselining methods.
Mentor junior engineers and enforce engineering discipline across docs and troubleshooting.
