Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Software Engineer to join an Agile Scrum team and maintain a distributed network of simulators and modeling capabilities for rehearsal and exercise operations across units. You will develop in Java, C++, or C#, participate in shaping system design, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, a bachelor’s degree, and experience with DIS networking, virtualization, and modern development tools.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with Java, C++, or C#
  • Experience working on simulation systems
  • Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
  • Experience with administration of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub actions
  • Knowledge of Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) networking protocol
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and execute a network of simulators and modeling capabilities for rehearsal and exercise operations across units
  • Collaborate on system design, architecture, and feature development for simulation software
  • Implement features and fixes in Java, C++, or C# within an Agile Scrum framework
  • Assist in CI/CD pipeline setup, automation, and deployment
  • Provide onsite support when needed and contribute to program innovation
