A2e Technologies is seeking a Lead Hardware Engineer to join our San Diego/Irvine/LA area team. You will design and bring up high-speed digital boards (>1GHz) with FPGAs and DDR, maintain EMC and signal integrity considerations, and work closely with test teams in a professional lab environment.

You will lead hardware verification efforts, develop test plans, and provide detailed analysis of root causes. Strong Altium, Verilog/SystemVerilog, and lab equipment experience are required.

Formación

• Experience designing high-speed digital boards (>1GHz signals) with DDR, FPGAs, Networking, etc.
• Schematic capture experience with Altium or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of EMC mitigation techniques and testing.
• Signal integrity simulation experience; power integrity a plus.
• Some FPGA design experience with toolchains is a plus.
• Experience bringing up circuit boards in a lab environment is required.
• Hands-on use of test equipment (power supplies, function generators, DMMs, oscilloscopes).
• Ability to generate and report test cases and results.
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
• Familiarity with verification methodologies and space industry standards.
